Dr. Patil is a board-certified, fellowship-trained gastroenterologist who enjoys working with patients with digestive disorders as they navigate the complexities of their disease and treatment options. Her goal is to help them achieve and maintain healthy and full lives.

Dr. Patil has particular interest in inflammatory bowel disease (IBD), Crohn’s disease, and ulcerative colitis, previously serving as Director of the University of Maryland Inflammatory Bowel Disease Program. She has contributed to the field of gastroenterology with over 40 publications and has dedicated time to educating and training the next generation of physicians and gastroenterology specialists.

Outside the office, Dr. Patil enjoys cooking and spending time with her husband and two children.
