Ambulatory Endoscopy Center of Maryland has three GI endoscopy procedure rooms with state-of-the art safety and diagnostic equipment, including the addition of utilizing Carbon Dioxide (Co2) Insufflation during colonoscopy. The use of CO2 in comparison to regular air is used to increase patient comfort, as it is absorbed quickly through the bowel mucosa and may cause less abdominal cramping. This is just one way we continuously provide the best quality of care for our patients.
You’ll also find that we have multiple recovery bays for added patient privacy and convenient parking at our facility. We are confident that patients will find the staff at Ambulatory Endoscopy Center of Maryland to go the extra mile and ensure a patients visit is very pleasant, safe and a convenient alternative to hospital-based endoscopy.
Although not required, all of our physicians and nursing staff are certified in Advanced Cardiac Life Support.
