Ambulatory Endoscopy Center of Maryland is an outpatient endoscopic facility specializing in colonoscopy flexible sigmoidoscopy and upper endoscopy.
We have three GI procedure rooms with state-of-the art safety and diagnostic equipment, including the addition of Carbon Dioxide (Co2) Insufflation during colonoscopy. The use of CO2 in comparison to regular air is used to increase patient comfort, as it is absorbed quickly through the bowel mucosa and may cause less abdominal cramping. Furthermore, although not required, all of our physicians and nursing staff are certified in Advanced Cardiac Life Support.
We are committed to safe, high-quality, patient-centered care delivered by a highly engaged team.
We believe in compassionate medicine, where patients feel reassured and unrushed. We hold ourselves to the highest of standards, as our center is accredited by the Accreditation Association for Ambulatory Health Care (AAAHC). Patient satisfaction is our primary goal.
Our experienced, board-certified physicians have dedicated themselves to caring for their neighbors in the Laurel community.
When you walk through the door, you’ll know you’re in good hands.
